The San Francisco Mandolin Orchestra is in the process of becoming a non-profit organization.

On October 4, 2009, we adopted Bylaws and elected a Board of Directors. We are now incorporated and our application for non-profit status is being reviewed by the IRS.

Assuming that this status is granted, your donation would then be tax-deductible. We need money to buy instruments, finance teaching to low-income students, buy software to arrange music, and commission new compositions.
